Pears with Vanilla Glaze
And here we go again with LSG. Yes, LSG not LSD. I bet you're reading this, what you prefer, right? He he he. But seriously, I have a few Les Senteurs Gourmandes samples lying around, so I can test some of them, but I must say that unfortunately, nothing really good has come out of it so far, or in other words, nothing better than mere average.
Vanille Framboise is unfortunately just an average scent with low sillage...
The scent:
The fragrance starts off lightly citrusy fresh with a lemon, but mainly with a nicely smelling pear. The top note is okay in itself, but the heart note kicks in quite quickly after that, as you can smell the roses after just a few minutes. The jasmine comes into play a bit later, which adds some sweetness to the scent.
The raspberry is somewhat weak, but it makes the fragrance fruitier and a bit sweeter. Then the vanilla joins in, which, despite the fragrance name, is a bit weak. It gives the scent a certain warmth and also a powdery note.
The sillage and longevity:
The fragrance is only below average in strength and can only be perceived from close up for a (short) time.
The longevity is not better, so the scent remains somewhat noticeable on the skin for about three to four hours.
The bottle:
The bottle reminds me a bit of Dior's Privée fragrances and looks quite okay. It is cylindrical and filled with pink fragrance liquid. On the front, there is a square label with the name of the fragrance along with a drawing of a vanilla. The cap is black and cylindrical. All in all, quite well done.
Hmm… actually, the scent starts off quite nicely, as the pear smells nice, but then the fragrance becomes a bit weaker and unfortunately drifts into insignificance. I don’t want to say that the scent is bad, but it’s not that great either. It’s just “quite nice” and therefore remains at a normal, average level for me. However, it may very well be that you like the scent better!
The fragrance is casual and thus suitable for warm days as a casual scent. For anything else, it lacks endurance.
Well, as I said, the scent didn’t convince me that much, and I still haven’t tested a really good LSD fragrance… okay, LSG fragrance. Well, maybe that will come :D
