G. Bellini - Deep Lidl Eau de Toilette
4
The Little Big Nothing
Taken home on a spontaneous whim from Lidl, G. Bellini has indeed done some things right with Essence Aqua Fresh.
Unfortunately, the only thing I like about Deep is the elegant, dark bottle. Otherwise, this fragrance is nothing, absolutely nothing. When sprayed, the synthetic note briefly bites the nose, then the cloud mockingly laughs at you and dissipates within a few seconds. Only with a lot of imagination and deep breaths through the nose can one sense at the spray head that this was supposed to be a BDC twin.
I can forgive a lot. Bad scent composition? Hey, at least they took a risk. Short longevity? Well, at least you get to enjoy it for an hour. Weak sillage? Oh, I mostly wear fragrances just for myself anyway.
But this insignificant nothing? No. A big no.
With that five-euro note, I should have rather bought a döner, which is olfactorily more satisfying and also fills you up.

My experience with the longevity was different. It was actually very good. At first, I liked the scent, but after half an hour, it just started to annoy me.
