Something sweet again? :D
Soo, today comes a fragrance from Ligne St Barth, a brand I've often seen in a niche perfumery, but so far I've only tried one fragrance. And how could it be otherwise, I also test this scent "only" because I happened to have a sample of it.
So the name of the fragrance means sugar cane blossom, which sounds pretty nice because it sounds like sweet flower scents. The question, of course, is whether the fragrance is light and fluffy and therefore suitable for the summer, or whether it has a rather rather sweet scent, which could only be used in autumn or winter.
And as recently described with another fragrance I am NOT responsible if the fragrance should sound "delicious" somehow and you then blame me for "increased candy intake" from you.... D
Well, flowery notes show up shortly afterwards, too. These are jasmine, whose sweetness sometimes smells stronger than that of sugar. The violets also give off a sweetness, and since violets always seem a little powdery to me, the powdery one mentioned earlier could also come from the violets.
Anyway it goes on quite sweetly, the scent gets a warm note, which probably comes from sandalwood. A little later, the flowery notes begin to smell a little muggier and thus also more difficult, reminding us of flowery notes like ylang-ylang. Otherwise one smells the vanilla in the base further and further out, which then also becomes the main fragrance.
The shelf life is quite okay, because the fragrance lasted a little more than six hours with me.
Hm, the fragrance may still begin lightly and loosely despite the sweet notes, but becomes increasingly heavier in the course of the fragrance, so that this is not a summer fragrance here. Spring should still go, if it is not too warm, otherwise it belongs for me rather into autumn.
The smell is quite nice in itself, because it reminds of smells like Candy (from Prada) and so by its sugar notes and is also suitable for going out (so that woman just looks tasty :DD), but the somewhat sultry flower notes disturb me towards the end, even if these are not very strong. But you ladies might like it, as long as you don't have anything against sugary scents, whereas this one smells less girlie-like!

The fragrance:
Yes, the scent starts sugary, so it smells really like sugar, but also a little bit like cotton candy (which looks almost similar). I smell still powdery fruits, which remind a little bit of currants, whether these are however these Acai berries, I cannot say, since I do not know, how Acai smells... honestly said I had even hoped that it is some tea sort, since Acai looks like Chai from the "sound" and/or from the spelling ... *sigh* :DWell, flowery notes show up shortly afterwards, too. The Sillage is quite good at the beginning, the fragrance radiates well for a while and is therefore good at a smell. The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular, narrow and high. It is filled with a pink scented liquid and shows name and scent on the front in golden letters. Besides one sees a small, quite simple, but nice drawing, which is different with each bottle (... and certainly has some meaning...!).
