Purgatory of Togetherness

Joy arose when I saw that Linari was introduced as a pre-Christmas new brand in my regular perfumery in Wuppertal. At first, only a quartet and not all the fragrances, but better than nothing. Besides, I already knew Vista sul Mare, which didn't really blow me away in spring. All creations cost €150, a hefty price, but the bottles are truly impressive, but we'll get to that later. The scent, the hellfire, has quite a lot to offer.

The fragrance is smoky, fiery, and very masculine. A true cozy scent for a romantic evening/night by the fireplace. At first, it was a bit too harsh, burnt, and intense for me, but even then, there was something special about it, an archaic power and aura. But the scent definitely stayed in my mind, unlike many other Linari creations. Moreover, the fragrance became increasingly harmonious, softer, and powdery. This is probably due to the wonderful iris, which I can never get enough of. Especially in combination with charred wood, I have never experienced it before - and it creates an extraordinary, complementary symbiosis. The scent is dark brown, characterized by smoke, clove, birch, and tonka. Give the fragrance time; it will grow on you, and perhaps you will grow with it. For starters, I just need a bit of patience.

Bottle: wonderful, dreamy, magnificent. Covered in gold leaf and made of African dark wood. Hello, it has to be 100%.
Sillage: the scent is dark, masculine, and powerful like a large fireplace. But it does not project overly strong or far.
Longevity: about 7-8 hours - so it withstands even the longest evening by the fireplace.

The most pleasant hellfire of all time. For all those who found Amouage's Interlude Man too intense but still want to create a campfire atmosphere. For me, so far, it is clearly the most characterful and expressive fragrance of this German brand that embodies italiano vero.

I'll leave a fire chalice here for a fitting comment on a great scent. I felt the same way. At first, I thought, what is this! But after wearing it longer, I liked it more and more. Now I've bought it!
