Luciano
Luciano Pavarotti, I adore this great singer, who unfortunately is no longer with us. A television recording of the opera L' elisir d'amore in the early seventies introduced me to this artist, as my experience with classical music had been zero until then. That this great artist also had fragrances created for him, I stumbled upon that only about two years ago. The two men's fragrances belong to my collection since then.
Luciano' begins very citric and herbal-spicy. The mixture reminds a little of Gremolata, but the garlic is missing here (luckily). This impression lasts quite long, only after a good two hours does the citric retreat and make way for a rather powdery lavender.
Unfortunately the lavender doesn't last as long as I would have liked it to, because a slightly sweet and creamy musk takes over more and more the determining role in the fragrance, supported by a breath of wood and incense
Luciano' is a well made fragrance, which in my opinion can always be worn in cool to not too warm temperatures. The charisma is not too intense and the shelf life is a good seven hours. The bottle is very attractive, the spray head is very easy to dose.
