Envy, Lothair & By Man
Tried today at the store on my arm, 3-4 sprays.
At the beginning, a strong blast of cardamom & cream. Huge huge similarity with Penhaligon’s Lothair.
Then it settles and i absolutely understand the similarity votes with Envy & By Man. I’d say much more Envy than By, but the vibe is there.
To my nose it’s a meeting point between those 3 perfumes i mentioned and which i own/ed.
At the beginning i could barely smell it, it had no projection at all, but magically i started smelling it after a couple hours, and overall i really like it.
But at the same time reminds me too much of those old fashioned 90s legends perfumes, so it makes me step ahead because the retail price is 180€ and for me that’s top much for what it offers, as there are a couple clones of Envy and By Man which nail the originals, and it could smell a bit dated to wear in public at that price tag you’re paying.
I really like it but i won’t buy it :-)
