The Usual Floral Sweetness

Michael Kors. I don't really know his fragrances at all,… should I?
Anyway, I’m currently holding a sample of this brand that has been released in recent years: Wonderlust. Strange name. For a comic fan … um, rather a comic freak like me, the hot Wonder Woman immediately comes to mind, but I’d better not write any more about this superheroine… especially not in combination with the term “lust” and… yes yes, I know, some are probably saying again that I urgently need a girlfriend… *sigh* I know that myself, so don’t say anything!!! :DD
(And just to clarify, I’m not really that into Wonder Woman; if anything, I prefer Supergirl or Power Girl or or or… :D).

Argh! Let’s get to the scent instead, which contains, among other things, mandarin, almond milk, and jasmine, as the fragrance pyramid reveals, which sounds quite nice to me.

Great… by the way, I’ve been thinking for so long about what to write in the introduction that even my tea has gone cold. … I’ll quickly replace it with hot tea and be right back… :D

**The Scent:**
Basically, the fragrance starts with all the notes listed in the top notes of the fragrance pyramid. The mandarin and almond milk stand out the most at first, with the pink pepper becoming stronger afterwards. I can also already smell the sweet jasmine. The beginning is nothing special, or rather, nothing new, which isn’t a problem since it smells nice and feminine, maybe a little synthetic, but that’s not too bad either.
From the heart note, you can smell more sweet notes as the jasmine truly unfolds. The slightly citrusy notes from the beginning completely disappear and are replaced by floral notes, although you can’t smell the clove among them. There’s also a light marzipan-like scent, which should come from the heliotrope.
Additionally, the fragrance is very soft, so gentle, that you feel quite comfortable with it, even if, as mentioned, there might be a slight synthetic aftertaste.
In the base, the fragrance continues to smell very sweet and floral. Moreover, the scent remains very soft as described due to the benzoin. A nice fragrance, but it doesn’t have any notable strengths.

**The Sillage and Longevity:**
I find the sillage to be above average to just okay. You’ll be able to smell the fragrance well on someone, and it leaves a small scent cloud behind.
The longevity is also average, and the fragrance lasts about seven to eight hours on the skin.

**The Bottle:**
The bottle is oval with a very thick bottom, and the glass of the bottle seems to have a slight cream-colored tint. The upper part, just like the cap, is chrome-plated. On the front, the name and brand of the fragrance are simply written at the top. It’s nothing special, but it’s okay.

Yes, the fragrance itself isn’t bad. Despite the sweetness, it doesn’t smell overwhelmingly suffocating and can therefore be used as a daytime fragrance. But it should also be suitable for going out since it smells quite nice. A rather feminine, floral-sweet fragrance indeed. Nothing special, but just nice.

The problem is that you’ve probably smelled a fragrance like this a thousand times everywhere, but there’s nothing wrong with a fragrance smelling like 100 other fragrances, as long as it’s pleasant. It’s just that it’s only recommended for those who don’t already own such a fragrance, but even then, I would honestly recommend something like Alien or other fragrances. Well, it’s of course a matter of taste!

Aside from that, this one, as mentioned, has a slight synthetic touch, which isn’t very disturbing, but you do notice it from time to time, just so you know.

Aaah, I wonder what Wonder Woman smells like... :DD

I hardly smell anything sweet here, let alone almond milk. Weird🤔 For me, it smells fresh and woody, a bit citrusy.
