Mission Shower Gel
Perhaps my expectations for "Missoni Wave" were simply too high due to the praises from various YouTubers, and I generally don't like shower gel scents. I was just looking for a fresh summer fragrance that would perform well even at nearly 40 degrees. Unfortunately, all my summer fragrances this year evaporated after a short time.
So I thought I would find a light, fresh summer scent with perhaps barely noticeable shower gel vibes. To me, "aquatic" does not mean shower gel but rather a sea scent like in "Seemann Intense" by Rammstein.
I should have guessed that the actually pretty design of the bottles already hints at the scent: "Mission Wave" starts off nicely fresh with a slight fruitiness, and I found the citrus notes very pleasant. Unfortunately, after a short time, there is always a shower gel scent in the background that determines the direction of the perfume until the end.
Over time, this annoyed me a bit. In direct comparison with the older counterpart "Y" by Yves Saint Laurent, "the wave" lacks the Ambroxan, while "Y" is a tad sweeter and has only a slight shower gel character.
"Mission Wave" lasted about 5 hours for me until I needed to reapply. It unfolds best on clothing, where it also lasts longer.
I cannot understand the rating of 8.3 from 02.09.22 at all. It is a good fragrance, but the pain threshold for me is around 7 - 7.5 points for the scent. I would not recommend it as a blind buy (almost 40 euros for 100 ml, other sizes are currently sold out).
Instead, you can test several decants in search of the personally best summer fragrance.

Just as you can't understand the 8.3 rating, I can't make sense of your trivial comparison with some supposed shower gel...

Thanks for your honest opinion. What affordable summer fragrances would you recommend for me to try? We both like Aqva Amara, so maybe with your tip, I'll find something suitable after all.
