Lavender/Patchouli Bliss!
A beautiful, Natural smelling Lavender to the point that its (almost) medicinal along with that semi-sweet, earthy Patchouli makes for a great and super unique combo imo. I use a 100% high-end, Natural Lavender-Extract essential oil in my diffuser and the Lavender in Molinard really does remind me of that essential oil quite a bit. Perfectly "Unisex" and starts off strong and again, slightly medicinal but smoothes out really quickly leaving that medicinal aspect behind during the dry-down.

Its NOT a screamer bc after the strong opening, it calms down quite a bit creating very nice scent-bubble. The longer its on skin the more that "Choclate Cake Patchouly" begins to dominate, but that Lavender is most def still perceptable throughout the life of the wear for sure! My bottle is brand-spankin' new and every other Molinard in my collection has needed time to "Maturate" so that it gains peak performance and smell, as for now tho, Im getting an intimate to moderate, lasting scent bubble lasting a good 5 to 6 hours on skin and ofcourse it lasts much longer on clothes, but Im almost positive that'll change in time. (Oh yeah!), also its NOT as "Powdery" as some folks claim it is, atleast for now Im only getting a touch of powderiness from the Tonka Bean . Thanks for taking time to read my thoughts on Molinard's Lavande! CHEERS!!

Finally, herbal lavender
True, aromatic and herbal lavender tempered nicely by the patchouli and tonka. It ended up being somewhat sweeter than I'm looking for, but the end result is really nice: something much less harsh than a straightforward lavender essential oil. As it settles it becomes quite powdery and sweet, but retains a lavender-forward characteristic throughout.

Sweet ambery lavender
Lavande by Molinard is a warm ambery lavender that verges on the oriental side without crossing the line. It is unashamedly lavender with a sweet, true lavender bursting at the top supported by warm vanilla and tonka with amber (benzoin, labdanum) that is immediately apparent but not overpowering. It is hardly fresh as the sweet, warm, ambery base becomes more and more prominent in the dry down, which makes this scent rather elegant yet cozy. It is a proper unisex scent that will fit with most people's understanding of the word - dare I say. Fantastic value for money in terms of quality, projection and longevity of the scent.

No dupe, still good
I bought this fragrance because I have always wanted Lavender Extreme (but it's just too expensive).
It's not a dupe but it is very similar as they both simply smell like lavender.
Tom Ford, in my opinion, is more complex and versatile, while Molinard is rather linear.
However, it is a beautiful, calming scent that smells like real lavender. A bit powdery, a bit sweet vanilla, a bit fresh due to the musk in the background. Patchouli and tonka don't come through for me.

A very strong lavender scent, one spray filled my living room, big projection too. I sense real quality here but alas it's not my thing.

Medicinal aromatics, camphorous lavandin, chocolate cakey patchouli dry down to vanilla & sweet resins. Devil's food cake + Vicks Vaporub.

A very deep dark purple, compared to the bright, complex pastel violet of Lavender Extreme. ***

The scent starts - I agree with @Spatzl - a bit off-puttingly sweaty. But then the purple dream picks up speed, becoming softer, +

Initially an authentic herbal-fresh lavender sachet, gradually joined by a soft tonka sweetness; gently powdery over time.

Lavender, lavender, lavender + hint of sage + patchouli + touch of fine sweetness = a soothing, chill "always-relaxer." Very natural + unisex
