Lavender/Patchouli Bliss!
A beautiful, Natural smelling Lavender to the point that its (almost) medicinal along with that semi-sweet, earthy Patchouli makes for a great and super unique combo imo. I use a 100% high-end, Natural Lavender-Extract essential oil in my diffuser and the Lavender in Molinard really does remind me of that essential oil quite a bit. Perfectly "Unisex" and starts off strong and again, slightly medicinal but smoothes out really quickly leaving that medicinal aspect behind during the dry-down.
Its NOT a screamer bc after the strong opening, it calms down quite a bit creating very nice scent-bubble. The longer its on skin the more that "Choclate Cake Patchouly" begins to dominate, but that Lavender is most def still perceptable throughout the life of the wear for sure! My bottle is brand-spankin' new and every other Molinard in my collection has needed time to "Maturate" so that it gains peak performance and smell, as for now tho, Im getting an intimate to moderate, lasting scent bubble lasting a good 5 to 6 hours on skin and ofcourse it lasts much longer on clothes, but Im almost positive that'll change in time. (Oh yeah!), also its NOT as "Powdery" as some folks claim it is, atleast for now Im only getting a touch of powderiness from the Tonka Bean . Thanks for taking time to read my thoughts on Molinard's Lavande! CHEERS!!
