Sweet and soft apricot
The scent is sweet, but not overpoweringly sweet. The florals kind of balance that sweetness, and the apricot can develop itself in a beautiful way. My mom told me that on my skin, she detected coconut, which i don't :'( . I really like the fact that the scent is kind of personal, not so strong yet still there, with a good longevity for those type of fragrances.
Overall, a really good scent that isn't expensive.

A basket of apricots and a fresh cut bouquet on a summer morning
This osmanthus has a ghostly nature. It doesn't linger but rather continuously reappears as a fluffy innocent cloud. Lots of ripe apricot here. A light yet somehow rather saturated floral apricot I would call this. It's a gentle, non-invasive and inoffensive scent that I think would particularly appeal to younger ladies in touch with their femininity.

Not my usual type at all
… and that's exactly why it deserves a review.
During my Sunshine-Woman ramble with a production site in Oman or the UK, dear @Netti77 took pity on me and sent me a sample of Osmanthus. With the note to use up the sample completely while testing. Said... done... and off I went...
I immediately catch the Osmanthus with the bergamot and pink pepper. After about half an hour, the apricot joins in, and in the background, there's a hint of iris with minimal musk. And it stays like that for a while. It fades for me after 5 - 6 hours.
It's not a loud, intrusive scent. Rather, it's a light companion that pleasantly wafts around the nose time and again.
I find it extremely pleasant to wear. The sample has become a bottle in my collection, and I must say, I've used it several times since the purchase, even though it might not be the most suitable for >30 degrees.

One downside: the bottle. The Osmanthus has to stand all the way at the back of the display case with the vanilla patchouli from Molinard.
That's where the ones that aren't as liked go.
But in this case, that's not so bad. The scent will certainly not be forgotten.

In conclusion, price/performance:
here you get a solid, good scent for relatively little money!

Have you ever tried freshly made apricot jam? My husband's granny used to cook this jam in summer. This is what this perfume smells like.

Astringent citrus opening with soft white florals, drying down into clean white musk tinged with apricot. Osmanthus more support than star.

A scent that isn't found in every perfume shop. Special, velvety, and soft like a ripe apricot. Very beautiful.

Mood-lifting, fruity-fresh Osmanthus with a delicate iris-apricot base & thankfully muted tuberose. Great discovery!

The perfect balance of floral sweetness, best for cozy early spring. Simply put: apricot jam.

Light, fluffy, juicy fruit-osmanthus scent. Not sweet. Subtle. “Hairspray note” is off-putting.

Reminds me a lot of Sunshine Women. I love Osmanthus, and that's exactly the scent Molinard has bottled.

Intensely smelling of apricot Osmanthus flower without any oriental fluff. Just how I wanted it.

A very subtle, understated scent that completely envelops me and makes me smile every time it wafts through my nose.
