I don’t find this heavy at all? It IS one dimensional; but that’s kind of what Montale does.
Although the notes make it look to be an amber tuberose, on me this wears almost beachy. The oud is cool, almost medicinal, and gives a narcissus-type waxy “yellow” background for the tuberose and cloves.
It blooms in the heat with a slight shampoo element that I get a lot from frangipane fragrances. Lovely!
