Fresh wood bomb
When I was given the opportunity to choose some samples when I bought them from Montale, some of them were Oud Island, thank goodness!
About the fragrance:
-Starts very citrusy and fresh, the lemon and tangerine is very present, which is immediately joined by a light animalic and deep woody dimension, unbelievable.
It lasts a damn long time for a rather "fresher fragrance", lasts at most 3-4 hours less than the Arabian Tonka, which is generally known from Montale that it lasts for what feels like an eternity.
What is also very atypical for Montale is that it smells very natural, so it smells 0 synthetic, which is very positive.
Conclusion:
- Super fragrance for spring or everyday life, if you want light pleasant animalic notes paired with a woody dimension with an insanely fresh cirtric character, definitely a recommendation to try!
