White Musk Montale Eau de Parfum

Today was the day of the often postponed dentist visit.
For me, it’s always a trip to Canossa.
I hate the rummaging around in my mouth, and I would rather take a nap for a reasonable fee in such matters.
But today I wanted to be brave.

Well, what can I say - after the ordeal, I had sweated through two shirts - my doc did too.

I was too exhausted for a subsequent spa visit at the perfumery, so I wobbled homeward and blindly reached into the fragrance wonder bag.
I sniffed, and my trembling slowly subsided.
I had grabbed Montale White Musk - the purest nerve balm.

Creamy and trustful, musk embraces the skin, and to enhance its gentle message, it has brought along a lovely violet.
The geranium blooms softly above it, paired with slightly bitter ylang-ylang.
Alongside the smooth creaminess, there’s also soft powder - and my breathing calmed down.

White Musk is the perfect wave smoother - the longed-for calm after the storm.
And although I’m not particularly fond of unisex fragrances, it fits like my soft nappa leather glove.

For me, it’s not a going-out scent - but an introspective one.

I think a larger bottle would be worthwhile.
