Gourmand: Glutton or sweet tooth
Gourmands were always the ones who didn't eat, but stuffed everything down their throat and ate it. It was only here that I learned that there are gourmand scents that smell fruity, caramelly, vanilla..........somehow edible and sweet and are for the foodies. But here I would have preferred the cheese trolley.
In classic kitchens, the patisserie area is rather unloved: sticky fingers were always the knockout. Argument for my colleagues not to take on this part of the kitchen. At the end of Servus, my aprons were abstract color paintings that were only worthy of display in my opinion, of course. I'm a friend of gourmands, keep them coming - I want to try them all!
Diadema is not the crown of creation, but at least it's a diadem. It smells orangey-cherry, vanilla, caramel and somehow creamy. Patchouli underlines the fruitiness. Jasmine is perceptible, while rose and ylang tend to fade into the background. And I could really like the fragrance if the caramel note wasn't so overpowering. As if the fragrance wanted to say: Hey, I'm a caramel bomb, look at me! While this caramel note in Lira is rather dignified and smells like a luxurious dessert, here it is more skin-deep and therefore seems artificial. Artificial, too, because the cherry-orange combination smells like a plain lollipop and not like a dessert. The caramel note only becomes pleasant on my skin after an hour.
