Sparkling, caramelized, spiced up silk
Seta balances sweetness and elegance beautifully. Vanilla and creamy myrrh create a smooth, warm base that really feels silky like the name (Italian for "silk") implies, but it also has a note of caramelized woods and slightly bitter saffron that adds a crunchy texture on top. I find the saffron quite prominent and understand why some might see a resemblance to BR540. These are two very different scents, but the saffron has a similar effect in both.

Overall this is very balsamic with all the myrrh, benzoin and amber. The ylang-ylang and citruses only provide the lightest touch of freshness in the opening. Seta feels sparkling and glamorous, it makes me think of going to a party or a special occasion on a crisp, clear winter night.
It's doesn't change a lot over time, but subtly gets better the longer it's on.

I don't understand why anyone would say that this is weak. It's super strong. When I first tried this my sample leaked and I had to refill it, so I had perfume all over my hands, and it was way too much and not that pretty. This is a fragrance that has to be applied carefully to unfold its true beauty. It's a quality fragrance with a high oil content, and certainly also smells like high quality.

Resin Heaven
Seta is one that is a bit reminiscent of Benjoin Bohème. It is not exactly the same but has that beautiful vanillic Benzoin dry down. It does open up with Citruses but they quickly fade away to open the benzoin and myrrh accords. The price is great. I did receive a 30% discount. Love the bottle design. For me it is the best in the house. I haven't smelled another Moresque that speaks to my taste like this does.

The small brother of BR540
Today I have received a decanter of this fragrance through yuniqu and I have stayed a bit that neither yes nor no. The perfume smells good but there is no point of comparison with other similar perfumes like Baccarat Rouge 540 in terms of quality; or red temptation by Zara or cloud by Ariana big in price, perfumes that also really looks more like. If I hadn't tried BR540, I would surely fall in love with this one, but knowing the one from MFK, this one leaves me a little indifferent ... Does it smell good? Yes ... But I don't see it necessary in my collection and I think that before buying mushroom, you should try the other one to make a proper decision. Therefore I have not just found its place in the market very well by not competing in price or quality.
Regarding the aroma, it is much more medicinal than in BR and much dirtier, with a touch that on my skin reminds me a bit of burnt sugar and that reminds me of the sensation that perfumes such as Lattafa raghba cause me. In general, it is a fairly discreet aroma, vanilla and amber, very sweet, and in this case with an overdose of sugar compared to other perfumes like that.
On the other hand I feel a spicy part, with a very noticeable saffron and what develops on my skin with an aroma very similar to cinnamon. Performance isn't bad but it's not a bomb either. It lasts more or less well for 6-8 hours but with a very smooth projection.
I will gladly use the received decant since I like the perfume and it is very wearable and versatile, but I don't think I will buy a whole bottle.

The Fragrance for the Alhambra
For years, I have dreamed of Granada. There, in this Spanish city, stands the Alhambra - the epitome of Moorish architecture, a source of the most delicate wonders, carved in stone, telling stories of a great culture, of mathematics and medicine, of military strategies and picturesque calligraphy. Of the clear call of the Muezzin, ringing from all mosques in the early morning. Of red, warm stones and finely chiseled golden earrings in the evening sunlight. Of brightly sparkling oil lamps and sweetly scented jasmine on warm nights. Of crackling silk garments and precious turbans. Of women and men. And of love.
Should I ever visit this wonderful place, I would wear Seta. The fragrance from Moresque embodies all that the Moorish culture stands for - art and science in the fusion of East and West. With what immeasurable wealth the Arab culture has bestowed upon us, I feel in every moment I sit at the computer - where would we be if not for Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Musa, known as al-Khwarizmi, who gifted us the fundamental idea of the algorithm. And so I always regard Seta with an admiring gaze. Just the bottle with its shimmering color in golden saffron, its golden design reminiscent of the finely chiseled Moorish architectural sculpture in the Nasrid Palace of the Alhambra, evoking a canopy of stars, with a heavy, golden, gently rounded block as a closure. Then the fragrance: After a slightly fresh opening, the most delicate flowers that blend pleasantly with myrrh and saffron. A hint of exotic flowers, a hint of spices. A hint of resin, a hint of wood. Beneath it all, a warm, sweet base of vanilla. Seta is an incredibly delicate, gentle fragrance that overflows with the most precious ingredients. It is a light Oriental, floral, sweet, spicy, resinous. A barely perceptible touch, like a delicate silk cloth flowing from the shoulders in the warm wind. In this respect, Seta, which in its name and bottle design captures all the associations that the beautiful fragrance evokes, is a perfect scent for an imaginative dive into Moorish culture, into the merging of East and West. Not a heavy Oriental that conjures the desert. But a light one that creates a connection between both cultures, making one think of places of gathering, such as the Crusader states, libraries that connected scholars, and love that does not ask about religions. A fragrance for sensual fantasy journeys, a fragrance for dreaming. And one of the most beautiful scents I have encountered recently.

The Second Skin
I received this perfume as a sample with a purchase and had not yet smelled anything from Moresque until now.
I had already heard about the elaborately produced bottles... so I was all the more surprised to see that Seta belonged to the "more affordable" range of the brand.
(Just to clarify, in my opinion, this perfume could easily be sold for over €170)

When I sprayed Seta, it was immediately clear that this is a rather gentle scent... Woods, flowers, resins, and the slightest hint of spices are enveloped by a very soft vanilla.

This scent is worn when you want only your loved ones to perceive it, the people you are closest to in life. But when it is noticed, it is, in my nose's opinion, such a beautifully noble feel-good fragrance.
As if the scent embraces the wearer and gives everyone who smells it a benevolent feeling.

You get the impression that the scent was created for the word.
Seta: Italian for silk
A silky soft fragrance that clings to the skin and fits so perfectly as if it belonged to the body.

A gentle oriental beauty that doesn't overwhelm even in warmth. Lightly myrrh-smoky, a splash of lemon, warm amber, vanilla-saffron.
