Sparkling, caramelized, spiced up silk

Seta balances sweetness and elegance beautifully. Vanilla and creamy myrrh create a smooth, warm base that really feels silky like the name (Italian for "silk") implies, but it also has a note of caramelized woods and slightly bitter saffron that adds a crunchy texture on top. I find the saffron quite prominent and understand why some might see a resemblance to BR540. These are two very different scents, but the saffron has a similar effect in both.

Overall this is very balsamic with all the myrrh, benzoin and amber. The ylang-ylang and citruses only provide the lightest touch of freshness in the opening. Seta feels sparkling and glamorous, it makes me think of going to a party or a special occasion on a crisp, clear winter night.
It's doesn't change a lot over time, but subtly gets better the longer it's on.

I don't understand why anyone would say that this is weak. It's super strong. When I first tried this my sample leaked and I had to refill it, so I had perfume all over my hands, and it was way too much and not that pretty. This is a fragrance that has to be applied carefully to unfold its true beauty. It's a quality fragrance with a high oil content, and certainly also smells like high quality.
