Rimal: An olfactory mirage or a fragrance that captures the beauty of endless deserts?
For me personally, Dubai - Rimal Eau de Parfum is the best fragrance from Spirit of Dubai; it embodies the beauty of endless deserts and the constant change of breathtaking dune landscapes. A mirage or is there really so much behind this fragrance? Let me summarize my personal experience after two months of experience:
- The opening of Dubai - Rimal Eau de Parfum has an oriental touch; the saffron in combination with the nutmeg and the slightly fruity notes convey the feeling of a perfectly orchestrated symphony. A truly "rich", spicy opening, which is already undergoing a transformation thanks to the light freshness produced in quick succession by the white flowers.
- I then perceive a sweet, earthy rose, which is still accompanied by nutmeg, and the initially spicy-fresh composition now conveys a "drier", earthy impression and yes, the leather is also added very soon; subtly at first.
- In the drydown, this leathery accord intensifies and is enveloped by a subtle oud note, which is absolutely not animalic or smelly, but is gently carried by the leather, a slightly sweet caramel and precious woods.
- The longevity is ingenious and the sillage is definitely in the upper segment; thanks to its perfect balance, the sillage is by no means penetrating, but balanced and rich.
All in all, a wonderful fragrance that fortunately does not turn out to be a mirage, but really delivers what it promises. The fragrance has become an absolute favorite in my collection and I already have a backup bottle of it! Definitely worth a test!
