Tobacco and vanilla
In Noble Royale, Russian perfume art meets Arabic understatement. Both hemispheres stand for opulence, high quality standards and a history in fragrances. In the case of the Arab world, one that goes back thousands of years, while it is precisely here and beyond the Urals that more and more young diamonds of perfume art find their way to us. Like Nikolay Eremin with his magical Nimeré scents.
Yes, Ukraine, from which Olga Yurchenko was born, is not Russia. And Olga herself is introduced to us as "Creator". She is the face of the brand, as ambassador & owner. And this is where the parallels to Nikolay end. Because the nose behind the scents is Philippe Paparella-Paris (Symrise Middle East).
The distribution of the fragrances takes place (outside Dubai) through exclusive partners such as Jovoy. How convenient that Jovoy (Paris) has now set up a sample service to test the entire collection.
When studying the scents, it quickly becomes apparent that well-known and proven chords and scents have come together again. Tobacco, vanilla and cinnamon dominate this fragrance. That's why he gets so close to the All-Star in this segment: Tom Fords Tobacco Vanilla. Like its brother in spirit, Tobacco Dynasty has a sheer endless durability and high wearing comfort. If I had tested both fragrances blind and parallel on the skin, I probably wouldn't even have noticed a noticeable difference. Too seldom the ginger flashes with light fruity spiciness through the light caramel honey sweetness.
I give Tobacco Dynasty a half point deduction to my rating of Tobacco Vanilla (9) for the fragrance, since the great closeness is both curse and blessing. Flacon design and packaging look very noble and are fully adapted to the demands of niche fans. A nice detail is the (additional) small velvet bag, in which the flacon can travel along space-savingly and protected (in the suitcase) also on journeys.
I am already looking forward to the next tests of the brand. The journey continues. :)
