Is something went wrong?
I hardly write negative reviews. First I'm trying to understand perfumer's perspective and how this scent was created in first place, before I judge with my own personal dislikes. According to Dr. Ellen Covey's description this fragrance is based on the scent of two orchids: Angraecum and Aerangis. First impression of so many people is being effected by strong white floral interaction with cloves, which to some is troublesome. If you like Jasmine notes - go for it. It is your type of perfume. Within few hours this scent go away and leave wonderful orchid - fruity scent with passionfruit on the background. You should love orchids so much in order to give it a try and see if it will be your signature scent. I can see potential with this one especially if you add layers of vanilla scents on the top of it. Dr. Ellen Covey is very unique perfumer, that creates scents not for masses, but more for particular experiences in your life. I visited orchid show at FILOLI garden and it took me on a journey to learn about orchids in the new ways. This scent brings me back to that particular trip filled with exotic orchids grown by local enthusiasts.
