Olympic Orchids Artisan Perfumes / DEV #4: Reprise

Resins, Resins, burning, smoke, wood and a slight sweetness (resulting from labdanum). So, in a nutshell.
The fragrance is very persistent, strong, thick, 'dark', dense, unique. He designs for a very long time, but after a few hours - close-skinned. More for fall or winter.
Is it worth trying - YES. Is it worth having - it depends.
It depends whether you like such atmosphere. Mystery, strong, dark, extraordinary, with the same notes as above.
The whole DEV series is at least good, while the even tabs of this series are the BEST. Personally, I RECOMMEND.

The devil, the tree of life and incense

Apparently I was still sitting there, vaguely and silently in the posture of a meditating Buddha, staring at the work of the inevitable, at the end of an arm of a river in the dark heart of a niche. The memories of how I had come here were blurred, all that had happened to the plants of this dark place, their fear of fate, the endless monologues about the doubts about the existing system of order from the mouth of the monstrous myrtle, who believed she was a carnation. I breathed the place in unconscious meditation. Little by little a flickering contour became visible, a dry wooden stage, on the sides of which a black silhouette covered by a net, a beekeeper perhaps, walls full of honeycombs of glowing labdanums smoked, warm and earthy, bitter-sweetishly spicy like black honey, the resins dripped onto the dry woods, shimmering under olive-coloured clouds of incense and conifer cloves.
For several hours I watched the play, puzzling over this recapitulation, the devil in the garment of a tree of life, washed in incense and sweetness, I stare again in green glowing embers, resting in me at the end, "You and me and the devil makes three" the sirens on the river murmur.
