A vegan option for 1 Million Royal and Sauvage Elixir
I was at first going to leave just my statement but after a few twists and turns along with some information i found i thought a review was the better choice.
I actually got this as a sample along with an order of 1 Million Royal which this reminds me of a lot for the first hour and a half. It has a truly beautiful opening that whisps your mind in to a flurry of excitement trying to identify the notes as they pleasure your senses.
This is only my 2nd fragrance with oud in it but i instantly recognised something i had smelled in Van Py Rhum that i had not smelled anywhere else before so presumed it had to be the oud and it creates this deep richness to the fragrance. I also started to smell the lovely vanila, cinnamon and sandalwood with rich sweet florals. I thought to myself,surely this can't be the same Dandy Me i had heard about having poor sillage and projection, this thing is bursting with energy. It also made me think of a recent release of Paco Rabanne being 1 Million Royal which has pretty good projection etc.
This lead to other thoughts that i often find Paco Rabanne seem to take parts of other fragrances they have created to make slight changes here and there and call it a new creation. Sometimes we even find DNA of the 1 Million line crossing over in to the Invictus side when we look at Invictus Victory Elixir it smells very reminiscent of 1 Million Lucky with the plum removed and others have said the same for Phantom. This lead to me believe that this is what they used as their base for 1 Million Royal and made a few tweaks to be able to sell what seems to be a sleeper fragrance because i don't see much people talking about Dandy Me like we do the other lines from Paco Rabanne like 1 Million. So it makes sense to me that they would use a product they already have and make some tweaks to get the sales pumping and that's what they seem to have done with Dandy me and created Royal.
For an hour and half i could smell this radiating from a single spray on each of my arm and the longer i wore it the more i associated it with Royal which i own so decided to remove Dandy Me from my wishlist. Now i said i found out some information that may be of value to others who would like to experience fragrances such as Royal and another that this becomes very close to smelling like in the dry down stages several hours later and i will get there but first lets talk about longevity, because it actually is there afterall, it just requires you to allow time for this fragrance to shed its original clothing and become very familiar to another popular line and one of its clones which are Sauvage Elixir and Asad which i also own both of and Dandy Me ends up sitting somewhere in the middle of those 2 fragrances in its later stages and it is actually a very nice fragrance considering i am not a fan of Elixir or Asad but strangely i am of this!
Now for the information i spoke of and it will be no secret after reading my title for this review in that the "ME" line of fragrances of which there are quite a few are all vegan which was what lead me to actually write this review as almost out of sheer luck or some divine intervention i was actually on a break from fragrances to give me olfactory a rest in anticipation of a few new fragrances i am waiting on to be delivered. I like to take breaks before new arrivals so i can enjoy them to their fullest upon first spray, but today i had this urge to finally try the Dandy Me sample i had sitting next to me for almost a fortnight and earlier this day i had read a forum post on Parfumo from a member asking for a very specific kind of fragrance. Unisex being one, tick, male another tick and the 3rd and final, vegan and we have a hatrick! All 3 ticked boxes all in this one fragrance! A fragrance i wasn't even going to try for who knows how long and on top of that, they have the scent of some very popular fragrances along with its own uniqueness during that opening in the first spray that i spoke of, because for that moment of sheer pleasure of smelling this for the first time i would definitely love to be able to share this information for the vegan community that maybe don't always have access to some some of the more popular fragrances the rest of us take for granted and call clones and dupes in their circulation.
So for the Vegans of the community this review is for you and for anyone else who likes the sound of this fragrance. Because after all is said and done i actually think i will buy this afteral.

Longevity EDIT: Sprayed this 13hrs ago and i can still smell Asad whiffs so an 8/10
Sillage: For the first hour and a half 8/10 after it becomes a 6.5/10
Price: Although i own a sample prices seem pretty good so a 8/10
Scent: This is hard due to it changing, but that initial spray gets a 9.5/10
