A Nulle Autre Pareille Parfums Sophiste 2012

I received this dreamy scent from my dearest male perfume friend. Did he know what he was doing to me? I think so.
Although the top note had a slightly synthetic aldehydic touch that later transformed into a light, underlying clean soapiness, the fragrance remains very subtly floral-powdery and innocent. I was just reading through older comments about baby scents, as I would almost categorize this one there, but only almost. Babinours, Petit Guerlain, and the Bvlgari Mamaundbaby fragrance have more freshness, citrus notes. That is completely absent here; it remains rather powdery. But where are the oriental spices? I search in vain for the spicy notes. The sweetness also holds back quite a bit.
Overall, a very discreet, charming little scent for everyday wear for fans of L'Instant Magic and other magical powdery fragrances!
