A nutty, tart disappointment
Having recently found my way into gourmand fragrances, I wanted to follow up Angels' Share and "Une Nuit à Oman - Sugar Leather | Une Nuit Nomade" with another test in a similar vein. The price of Zaya is a little higher than the aforementioned fragrances, so the bar is a little higher.
A pleasure at the start. A start of pleasant sweetness, followed by a really wonderful nutty note, embedded in honey and a slightly alcoholic touch. Have we found the top of the class here, which skillfully caresses the nose? The answer becomes clear on the jump: no. Because in terms of performance, this really is a moderate disaster. Less than an hour after application, the fragrance has vanished from the face of the earth; even on hair and clothing - normally good transporters - the DNA can only be guessed at. And apparently I'm not an isolated case (see similar reviews), which is ultimately a huge contra-argument regarding a purchase and vehemently drives me into the arms of the fragrances I mentioned at the beginning. Too bad.
