Pecksniff's creaks with Fougère!
"I would call it 'bone dry' after the first spray! Delicate 'aquatic' notes, a lot of citrus fruit, and wonderfully blue lavender. Sweet?... Not at all!! It starts off exactly to my taste. What follows has as little to do with 'cheap scent odor' as fish does with riding a bicycle. Or, in scent terms, like raspberry fragrance with garlic...
Very nice pepper notes pair with the lavender and its entourage. 'Bitter tar' (leather) sneaks in and creaks in an inky way. Fine, fine! But still dry, unsweet, slightly 'metallic' cool. Perfectly made for hot days. Yet other scents come into play that slightly alter the overall impression. This is the earthy woodiness that adds something to the 'creak.' Now a bit warmer in the dry down, still dry, dusty like fine powders that tickle like ground pepper in the nose. Aromatic and spicy. Classy! And when 'mossy-fern' notes join in: Truly classy!! The longevity and projection are in the pleasantly upper range, giving birth to a wonderfully creaky-spicy Fougère scent that can definitely hold its own against much more expensive brands. Conclusion: MORE BEING THAN SEEMING!!!

My first encounter was entirely positive, though, as it reminded me of a scent I've been hoping to find for a long time.
It definitely has a "crunch" to it and is nice and dry. For me personally, it might be a bit too bitter. Yes, and sometimes it does come off as a bit "cheap."
However, I think your review is absolutely great and without fault! 🏆
