Yang Yang with pencil note
Have the fragrance sprayed on me, first asked three other people for their opinion about it........., which were very ambivalent (the opinions)..... from iiiiiihhhh, nope, to yes, this is the best!!!!
Bought it the next day anyway, it gave me no peace.
Anyway, it reminds me quite strongly of Pure Musc by Narciso Rodriguez, first of course very fine Yang Yang, not synthetic at all, pencil and some vanilla. I have never smelled this combination before!

Nosy be - the Nas' on the knee
Finally. Finally the impetus to share my thoughts on a perfume with you is more important than the daily Moloch. "Ylang Ylang Nosy Be" by Perris Monte Carlo has done it. This circumstance relieves me tremendously, because as a convinced user and ardent admirer of parfumo.de for many years, I want to actively participate much more often than a full-time job and extended family would allow me to Now. So now, after a night with YYNB, I'm getting my strength back - still surrounded by a soft, nutty voile. It started the day before, early afternoon. I am in the lucky position to regularly receive a hiking package. So I have Christmas several times a year ;) This time there was an obviously aged sample (still from Wuchsa - I mean, love for the fragrance is not called that anymore, right? "Ylang Ylang Nosy Be" by Perris Monte Carlo From this brand I know the amber, the musk and a rose scent. So I wore YYNB - roughly anticipating what might happen - on my skin. The first hundredth of a second was clearly a message from the Perris Monte Carlo family: idiosyncratic and rather what strong nerves.
I deliberately do not pay attention to the ingredients in the first fragrance intoxication - free association must be allowed. Here I experience a soft-sweet spice, coated with sesame oil, stored in a barrel made of hazelnut wood (does this even exist in processing? As a princess, I now sent messengers to bring me a mirror table made of the same), in which a transparent, cognac-coloured rose-vanilla liqueur had previously been stored. With YYNB I experience this compulsive merging of nose and the part of the body where the fragrance has been applied. It does not always have to be the wrist ;) At the moment it is my left knee - fragrance gymnastics, so to speak. Strangely enough, I smell neither lemon nor mint; at no time. On the other hand, the above mentioned mix does not change noticeably in the course of many hours. In this case I like it very much. How disappointing when fragrances that are enchanting in the top note dissolve into unpleasant fragments after an hour (or even longer), or can't be smelled at all. Here it's completely different: soon 24 hours after the first spraying I still perceive the whole scent complex delicately.
Tiny witty final remark: Nosy be - that didn't mean anything to me, and until just now I thought it might be a modern expression for the behaviour described above, when a fragrance is so good that you want to smell and experience it again and again, just "be it": Nosy. Thanks to Wiki I now know that it is an island off Madagascar ;)))
Soon. Soon I'll have to own this fragrance

Ylang-ylang unknown and long.....
So much in advance: the bottle exudes its intoxicating fragrance with great endurance!

Once again an absolute blink purchase. Neither did I know the perfume, nor did I have a hint of how ylang-ylang smells. After the comments here and on fragrantica, I thought I'd just hit this souk bargain ;-)
This fragrance is fascinating! I'm not usually a flower woman because I'm usually too flowery and I'm just not. In my collection I only perceive two scents as flower scents: "Taif Rose" by Montale, which I like to smell very much, but somehow never want to wear, and Penhaligon's "Peoneve" - which I perceive as a bang blossom. Both great, but for a long time with almost unchanged level.
And then I dare to think of a fragrance that is described by parfumo as flowery-sweet! Oh yes, sweet is also not at all my direction and none of my attributes ;-)
Yesterday I got the bottle, sprayed it on and couldn't get away with my nose!
The omniscient www hasn't bothered me yet to get any information about Ylang-Ylang.

My scent impression: this flower must have really thick fleshy leaves. That's how juicy the scent seems to me. It emits a strange kind of sultriness, really high L/D humidity. And yes, he's cute! But a sweetness that doesn't make you think of desserts or the like (I don't like gourmand scents). More like a syrupy sweet. But in the background it has something citric and tangy and sour. So this syrup won't kill me. This determines the scent for me. I can't find a right course, from the first impression of the fragrance to the end - which is many hours later - this fragrance remains quite constant. Only the liveliness decreases a little.
Should I assign a color, it would be a rich yellow, with a tendency to orange.

Rarely has a fragrance that does not correspond to my other pattern inspired me so much!

I think ylang-ylang combed can be worn any season of the year. The citrus note "refreshes" when warm / hot and the syrup sweetness "warms" when cold.

Even if described as unisex, I can hardly imagine a man then fragrant.

Since water lily equates the fragrance with pure ylang-ylang oil, I now have the exact idea of the pure fragrance and can now confidently bring the plant closer to me in the www. I can't be influenced anymore ;-)

Many thanks to Josie78, to whom I owe this unexpectedly wonderful experience.

Conclusion: I could roll, wallow and bathe in it :)
