Vanille de Tahiti Perris Monte Carlo 2023 Extrait de Parfum

Oke...
So what an incredibly captivating scent this is.
At first, when I didn’t have the fragrance and only saw reviews about it, hearing that some found the scent to have a somewhat fecal opening shocked me a bit. Nevertheless, the fragrance was hyped on the other hand and praised to the skies. Therefore, I decided to test the scent since opinions about it were very controversial and I wanted to form my own opinion.
And I must say, wow, the top note does not come off as fecal to me at all, but rather animalistic, and I like that so, so, so much. The top note makes it very exciting for me. In the background, the sweet vanilla is present from the very beginning, and the top note actually reminds me of sniffing very close to lily pollen. Later, the fragrance becomes softer and softer. I also somehow associate it with Black Tie by Celine or even Samsara by Guerlain. So for me personally, it’s an exciting, intense, and mega pleasant fragrance that never becomes boring.
