Smoky woody bergamot
There may be a 'tea' reference in the name and the backstory, but actually -on my skin- this acts as a vetiver bomb. So we can skip the otherwise mandatory assessment of whether or not this is my cup.
Within this dense cloud of vetiver grass, there are some fine nuances, though. On one side there is a tangy bergamot that lingers on for quite a long time. Then, the bergamot's brightness is offset by darker woody notes of the peppery-smoky kind. Interesting contrast, but not exactly my.. err.. never mind. For me personally, these smoky woods on top of earthy vetiver bring too much darkness to the composition.
On the bright side, the strong vibrance in the opening does not last all that long. Within an hour or two this has faded into a scent with reasonable to low levels of radiance.
