It was divided into a cosmetics division and a perfume division at that time. In 1922, the first item developed in-house was launched: Milady - the first lipstick manufactured in Spain.

In 1940 they launched one of the most successful products, "Agua Lavanda". The raw materials for this product, such as rosemary, spiced lavender, lavender and lemons, came exclusively from Spain due to the tense political situation.

Due to rapid growth, new premises had to be sought in 1946 and the company moved into a building at Travessera de Gracia No. 9 in Barcelona, where Puig's headquarters are still located today.

This was followed in 1999 by the founding of Puig Beauty & Fashion Company Holding. In the course of this, responsibility in the company was redefined. Company management was transferred to Excom, a company owned by 3 family members and one non-family member, reporting to the holding's board of directors.

In 2000 followed the acquisition of the traditional Spanish company Myrurgia and a year later the definitive acquisition of Gal, integrating into the company a wide portfolio of relevant brands, such as Adolfo Dominguez, Massimo Dutti, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Mango, Zara, Victorio & Lucchino, among others.
