Invictus Elixir Rabanne 2026

This is basically 80% vanilla, 10% benzoin/wood and 10% salt. The benzoin and salt give the vanilla a bit of levity compared to some thicker vanilla scents, but its still omnipresent. Between hour 1-3 I get the benzoin after that mostly vanilla and salt. What I perceive the vanilla caviar to be is different than other vanilla's I've tried. For example I don't get any occasional playdough associations like I did on JPG Elixir. This follows the trend of super sweet fragrances, probably like 8 to 10/10 in sweetness.

You might be able to get away with wearing this on a cool summer night but otherwise cold spring/fall/winter.

It would work unisex if you were into these types of fragrances.

Bottle sucks, its pretty but sprays like a squirt gun.

Never wanted or tried other Invictus but got sent this one from a promo. Ultimately, I'm not a fan as I prefer fresh and clean. While this is arguably sometimes clean (like a vanilla dryer sheet at times), for the most part I just felt the cloying sweet vanilla surrounding me. If you are into this kinda fragrance style or are young you might actually like it, and admittedly I do prefer it over other sweet vanilla bombs in the same category that I've tried before.

This is one of my husband's favorite scents.

It is really very nicely masculine, warm, and aquatic; I like it a lot on him.

The longevity is really good; he rarely has to reapply. The vanilla is well pronounced but not too sweet.

This fragrance is truly special but also not too extravagant. Easily wearable in everyday life.
