The curtain rises and the stage is set for the fiery plum!

The Goldskin bottle is said to be filled with 23-carat gold leaf, surely a sight to behold. However, the sample comes without precious metals, so I can't comment on this aspect here. So, let's focus on the scent itself:

The opening is dominated by spices -- cardamom leads the way and gives Goldskin a sparkling, oriental presence on the skin. With some fragrances, cardamom tickles my nose a bit, stands out, but not so with this scent here. Immediately, the spiciness is caught and softened; Goldskin now smells slightly sweet and creamy on my skin, a hint of floral scent comes to my attention, sultry and heavy the tuberose shimmers through. But leading this oriental fragrance fireworks is the plum, which remains very persistent until the end and later gets entwined with powdery sandalwood.

For me, Goldskin is a thoroughly feminine and sensual scent that I can ideally imagine on a confident, passionate person. It is one of those fragrances that would immediately come to my mind if I were ever to attend a grand gala, a ball, or even go to the opera -- a scent for a grand entrance with an opulent stage setting. "An extraordinary fragrance for extraordinary women" is RM's motto for this perfume -- very fitting, I think.
