I don't even remember how I came across this fragrance, but I don't regret it at all; I am thrilled with this little potion. Yes, I love scents that don't cost the earth, and Hawas is one of them. Comparisons to Chanel Allure Homme Eau Extreme are complete nonsense, often seen in the statements here. It definitely smells different, not even close. Maybe there is a similarity to the despised Invictus Aqua, which I don't know.
To me, the fragrance smells synthetic, clean with a very light melon-pear note. But just a little. Freshness comes into play, but not the Sauvage-Dylan Blue-Bleu de Chanel freshness, more of a "melon-like freshness," very hard to describe. Not sweet, not bitter, not spicy. A scent that you can always have around you. I look at the Hawas fragrance pyramid with fascination; to me, the top note smells just like the base, no change in scent. I don't even find that disadvantageous. I don't detect cinnamon, violet, etc. at all.
I have rarely had a fragrance that lasts so incredibly long; my nose discovers the scent again and again throughout the day, many fragrances in this price category don't achieve that for me. (Examples with comparable longevity: Mugler Pure Havane, Bentley for men intense, Dior homme intense. Slightly worse longevity would be Chanel Allure Homme Eau Extreme and Dior Sauvage. And those two are already longevity powerhouses. And all fragrances except Bentley are almost twice as expensive.) On clothing, Hawas lasts extremely long, almost annoyingly long.
Wearers of bitter, spicy, smoky fragrances will definitely hate this scent.
I wouldn't call this a pantydropper, at least my wife keeps her underwear on; she doesn't like it that much. (So you can guess where I got the Mugler from). But what do I know, I'm 38. ;)
Conclusion: Clean scent with a hint of melon and a lighter hint of pear. A green pear, not the yellow mushy ones.
Aquatic it is not; aquatic for me would be Cool Water, Nautica, etc.
As of 01.11.17: Through a search engine and price comparison, it's almost 20% cheaper than on the regular homepage of not...o., 100ml for €43.

Great comment, I agree with you on all points! The longevity is truly impressive; I could still smell it on a T-shirt after a week, even though it had only been worn once and was just sitting in the corner.
