Sperm is hopefully just a gag!
Hello you sniffers and welcome to a new comment from me. … Yes, you read the title correctly! This fragrance is actually supposed to contain a certain love juice and… oh, I don’t need to beat around the bush since it’s directly stated in the fragrance pyramid anyway. So,... this fragrance contains sperm! At least the scent notes of it, I hope :D
And yes, hopefully the sperm notes here are actually just a provocative marketing gag, because I just applied the fragrance and smeared it all over my arm, damn it!!!
Ugh, well, let’s get back to the text. Anyway, this fragrance here is one of the 15 scents from the collection by Thierry Mugler, who created these fragrances for the film "Perfume," in limited edition of course. Each fragrance thematizes a scene from the film (or book), and this one olfactorily describes the scene at the end where a huge orgy takes place.
Oh, and of course all the fragrances are available in a red box, so they are not sold individually. Thanks to a nice perfumer, I was able to test one of these fragrances and yes, here is my impression of it:
So the scent starts off somewhat floral-watery, without me really being able to pinpoint or, better said, properly identify a scent note. The fragrance pyramid is also not much help. After a short while, I smell alongside still indeterminate flowers and floral water (you know, that fragrant water from flower shops where the water takes on the scent of the flowers because they are constantly in the water vessels) mainly light, citrus notes that remind me of a mix of various citrus peels, e.g. the peel of oranges, mandarins, lemons, etc., just less bitter smelling than in reality.
A slight sweetness provides for a somewhat more pleasant scent experience, although I wouldn’t say that this sweetness comes from chocolate or caramel, as I can’t smell these two scent notes indicated in the fragrance pyramid.
What else can you smell?
Soo… now it says here in the fragrance pyramid that… sperm is supposed to be contained! Booarr!!!!
I mean, what is that even supposed to smell like? Hmm… You know that I want to be as precise as possible in my scent descriptions. So I always give 100%. This time it was even 110%, because after all, I had to do some serious work with full body involvement… you know, so I could… well, produce certain scent notes myself… :D
Soo… after doing that heavy work, I must say that this perfume has absolutely nothing to do with the scent of sperm, not at all… it MUST be just a marketing gag, which at least lets me breathe a little easier… phew! :D
Anyway, it remains sweet and floral in the base, although the flowers might have been a bit stuffy and quite opulent if they had radiated more strongly, as they lean a bit towards orchid, ylang-ylang, etc. And that’s it. You really don’t smell much, and overall the scent is even highly unspectacular.
Despite the provocative and thus probably interesting scent name and concept, I unfortunately have to say… that the scent turned out to be totally boring and harmlessly meaningless. It’s nice, certainly pleasant with its sweet-floral character, but nothing you haven’t already had under your nose a thousand times. Therefore, you don’t really need to have tested it. You’re really not missing anything! I hope that at least most of the other fragrances in the collection smell better, since you can only get them all in a pack and not individually; it would be really disappointing if most smelled as trivial as this one… well, who knows, maybe I’ll eventually get more samples from this collection, then we’ll see :)
And that’s it, so have a nice evening and see you next time :)

… boaaarrgrghrghrg… is the scent perhaps oily and sticky… I hope it’s ONLY OIL!!!! … anyway, first let’s get to the scent description:So the scent starts off somewhat floral-watery, without me really being able to pinpoint or, better said, properly identify a scent note. The sillage and longevity:
The sillage is mediocre; you will only be able to smell the scent from up close for a short time before it weakens further. The longevity is also not very high for me, lasting four to five hours. The bottle:
The bottle is a small, cylindrical container that, like all the others of these fragrances, has its place in a red box or case, and everything together looks quite nice and elegant, although the individual bottles themselves are not really outstanding. Conclusion:
Okay, so “Orgy” is a scent that somehow doesn’t smell like an orgy at all. If it’s an orgy, I would have expected more intense notes, especially maybe animalic ones or something, I don’t know, beaver musk and civet maybe, no idea. Anyway, I find the whole thing thematically or olfactorily not very fitting to the name.Despite the provocative and thus probably interesting scent name and concept, I unfortunately have to say… that the scent turned out to be totally boring and harmlessly meaningless.
