In the beauty parlor
Once the full program the elegant lady enjoys 1x per week in the beauty salon of her choice. Manicure, pedicure, a face peeling against skin aging, a chic hair styling and last but not least a fine make-up for the day.

Arriving at the Beauty Palace, we first have a cup of white tea, which is said to be especially good for the skin and in the fight against the signs of aging. She treats herself to a drop of honey. So much sugar is allowed. She swears by care, lots of sport and a healthy diet. It is better to avoid surgical operations, even if she will soon reach the age of 50. You can't tell by looking at her and she is proud of that.

After the facial steam bath and peeling, the face, neck and upper body are pampered with a luxurious care cream. This cream has a delicate scent and is wonderfully flowery. Wrapped in white towels with a dreamy fabric softener scent, you continue to the next station. While her fingernails and toenails are painted in seductive colours, she enjoys a fresh orange. It is also healthy and tastes good.

After several hours, the treatment is complete, the hair is trimmed a little bit, here is a finish for the make-up and she shines all over. Of course, she gives plenty of tips and is looking forward to the visit the following week.

You should be a film actress.....

With Chai by Robert Piguet I see exactly this picture in front of me. An all-round makeover in the Lusxus beauty salon. The tea scent hides a bit in the background, while white blossoms and delicate musk tones take over the stage here, although not listed. The honey adds a minimal hint of sweetness. A wonderful fragrance that I would like to continue a little further. Delicate, restrained and at the same time beautiful to cuddle up in. Chai is a fragrance that pampers and provides a little bit of luxury feeling in every season. Yes, you would have to be a company actress - and you can, with this perfume. At least mentally.

Many thanks to Violet

The strange, friendly companion
We are all shaped by where and in what circumstances we grow up. By our relationships with parents and close relatives, friends. By what we experience in our childhood and youth.
All this influences our later life : our later choice of partner ,our relationships, where and how we live...
Of course, in the course of our lives we are also influenced by olfactory factors (i.e. odour).
We get to know smells and unconsciously and automatically associate them with certain memories and feelings. The nose is directly connected to the areas of the brain that are responsible for emotions (limbic system) and memories (hippocampus) In other words, when a familiar smell enters our nostrils, the same feelings that accompanied us in the situations in which we smelled it return And this influences, as I could clearly see with this Piguet fragrance, possibly also the choice of the perfume we are willing to spend money on.
Herewith I would like to introduce my new "fragrance companion", the Chai In fact, it took me a while to warm up with him.
(Although his name is Chai, he has nothing to do with cinnamon, cardamom, anise, nor with any ominous yogis)
Anyway, I found him a little strange at the beginning. He smelled, to my sensation in the first moment after spraying, like a bitter plum. One of those
Plum cake - Plum...
Then there was a somewhat bulky, exotic honey smell. I didn't even sniff any further, and put it aside as strange, but very interesting After about two weeks I tried it again and suddenly started to like it.
And this is how it smells: It starts with this slightly bitter fruit, which is actually bergamot leaves So it doesn't get too citrusy. Then also already the honey (beeswax absolute) has his appearance,
nice sweet and aromatic, unfortunately almost a bit too sweet for my taste.
In addition, it has a tart, fresh and friendly scent, which I can't quite place at first...But it smells so familiar, so relaxing...
I look it up and find that there are two kinds of tea. White tea and mate tea Well, I come from a tea drinking family and have been drinking tea myself since I can remember. It's black, not white, but it smells very similar. Until then, I didn't realize how happy and satisfied the smell of tea made me (in fact, according to the description, I would never have tried it! Two sorts of tea, bergamot leaves, oak, that actually sounds unspeakably boring...)
The mate tea later, together with the oak (bark, leaves, moss?) smells a tiny bit rougher, which is not bad Otherwise the fragrance is beautifully balanced. It's not annoying or disgusting. And yet it's not boring Fresh but not too citrusy. Unobtrusive, but still well perceptible.
Like a good cup of tea, stimulating and relaxing at the same time. Not a fragrance rebel who constantly demands attention, but a friendly and fresh supporter, perfect for everyday life and for evenings and other times... It always works
It is suitable for women who like it and for men to whom it is not too sweet (so probably only a few) And although not quite cheap, he's moved in with me now
