The Woman with the Mystical Eyes
A splendid green garment has the new Assoluto. Emerald, absinthe, green eyes, this scent is mystically beautiful without being heavy, without strange undertones that have annoyed me in some bottles. I first suspected vanilla until I found the similarity to the sandalwood/praline note in Fields at Nightfall Intense. The whole time I think, hmmm atypical for Cavalli but somehow I know this opening. There’s no scratching sandalwood here! Something green shimmers through (bergamot and pepper). I only knew honeysuckle from Modern Muse Eau de Parfum until now. I don’t need to write a thesis about the stylish gardenia here! Creamy, floral understatement! It makes me think of my first satin blouse, which was also emerald green. The scent is not loud, almost too silky, creamy, elegant! I would place it between Fields at Nightfall and Modern Muse. Although the latter is significantly more robust. Fans of sandalwood scents who desire a bit of praline and green flecks should definitely try Assoluto Verde, the emerald!
