By the end of summer, I'm tired of a lot of things. It is also like saying a little goodbye to summer dresses, strap sandals, sun until 21.00 hours, colorful flower boxes on the balcony. On to new shores!
At ALzD I discover Roberto Ugolini. And order High Heel White as a sample. Roberto Ugolini is a shoemaker from Florence who produces tailor-made shoes. His creations are sold worldwide. With the German perfume connoisseur Herbert Stricker he has so far created six fragrances.
The first sprayer was enthusiasm: citric, fruity, fresh, the scent opens up, tingling like ice-cold soda water. The further course gives me the impression as if I see rose petals covered with hoarfrost early in the morning in late autumn and my breath is white with cold: spicy, cool. A little rose and iris is also to be sniffed. For me a fresh powerful white fragrance.
What remains is a woody note mixed with a pinch of incense, a hint of patchouli and woods. The shelf life is a good 5 hours. Even after taking a shower, vanilla is still on my skin. I'll also be testing the rest of the scents

From the beginning, it was very tart and woody, and I initially looked for the citrus notes, as well as the floral notes as the fragrance progressed.
For me he smelled very masculine from beginning to end, which would not be bad, but the "religious" tone irritated me, and I disliked it more and more.
I found on me, he developed very incense-heavy, and I can not get rid of the term "sacristy" in connection with the perfume.

A soap, not for everyone

So the High Heel White is a soap fragrance that is somewhat tart.
Green notes are definitely undeniable.
I can completely understand and agree with the association with Dove soap.
It's a nice clean scent for me, but I could imagine that not everyone really likes it.
The beginning is slightly pungent, but then it becomes creamier, more powdery and milder. But the tart note remains. In my opinion, this is a fragrance that can be worn at any time of year.
It's not a fragrance for the masses, but I think it's great!!!

An extraordinary fragrance

Based on the reviews here, I have long refrained from the fragrance.

But the week before last, I actually let myself be "influenced" and ordered the fragrance blind. And what can I say? I am smitten! I haven't smelled such an incredibly beautiful and extraordinary fragrance for months.
Truly absolutely unique.

For me, the scent in the opening smells strongly of a certain kind of robber stick. I probably smell the galbanum strongly. This recedes after a short time, but accompanies the entire course of the fragrance.

The fragrance becomes slightly soapy as it progresses. I can well understand the association with Pikovaya Dama (one of my favorite fragrances). However, High Heel White is a little more tart and the scent develops differently. But I still think anyone who likes Piko should definitely try High Heel White. Both fragrances contain coriander. Maybe that's why some people perceive a certain similarity.

I also perceive the incense in the base very well. When I first tested it, I thought of Honour 43 as well as Piko.

Patchouli is usually my nemesis. But strangely enough, I find it very pleasant and restraining in High Heel White.

Tonka bean and vanilla are not very present for me.

The fragrance is very long-lasting. I can still smell it on myself after 4-5 hours. Based on the reviews here, I would not have expected this and am therefore all the more pleased that this great fragrance lasts so well.

More like a trekking sandal

I ordered a bottle on the recommendation of an influencer. Expectation: A fine fragrance composition, sexy and elegant. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I don't find the fragrance as unpleasant as it is sometimes described here. It is fresh and floral with a strong spicy note. I notice lily of the valley less than the rose geranium. When it dries down completely, there is a little incense. The spiciness saves the high heel from being categorized as a cleaning agent. But this dominantly soapy .... scent not only comes across as very bland, but also somehow "inexpensive" and thoroughly scrubbed off after a long, sweaty day outdoors. It's certainly desirable to smell expensive for little money, but the other way round.... doesn't work for me ;-)
