Unthreateningly beautiful
After testing "Reckless" from the series, I wondered if "Danger" would be as
weak breeze on my skin, but "Danger" is stronger and more meaningful.
Immediately after spraying shoot methe fragrance strong and slightly acidic and is still soft.
Just like "Reckless" it reminds me again of a fragrance of my mother, I feel it as quite retro, but not in a negative sense.
Instead of girlish fruit sweetness stands out brightly the gentle yet dominant grapefruit with tangerine, paired with a very noble, light soapiness.
Very elegant and mature.
A very intense florality follows, whole bouquets, whole spring gardens with a shady coolness.
Furthermore, it reminds me of the floral, often powdery fragrances of my mother; for decades she wore "White Diamonds" by Elizabeth Taylor (in the meantime, some other perfumes have joined her) and "Danger" reminds me a little of that, too.
Sweetness I smell here hardly, it is quite green, a little tart, subtle floral sweetness mixes with it.
The combination of jasmine and gardenia also reminds me minimally of "Ellenisia" by Penhaligon's, but where "Ellenisia", which I like a lot, seems fairy-like, "Danger" is lady-like and strong.
A creamy spiciness makes itself felt, somehow damp-earthy, yet softly and nobly enveloping, somewhat smoky veiled by patchouli, the iris powdery lightly.
The fragrance feels very alive to me, it develops an intense life of its own on my skin.
In the end, a very delicate, light green vanilla remains in the drydown on the skin.
A perfume between office, business lunch, a picnic in the countryside; a picture as if enstprungen from a precious painting, for a woman from 30 upwards.
I don't find it dangerous, but confident and down to earth.
A perfume that reminds me of my mom :)
