Romeo Gigli for Man Romeo Gigli 2004 Eau de Toilette

Dry, Spicy, Green, and Herbal
I could actually end the comment here. But this fragrance definitely deserves a bit more. Without any great expectations, I had a small sample sent to me, and after the first spray, I am definitely positively surprised.
The citrus-resinous top note, which brings a certain freshness, is already unnoticeable within a few seconds. One can at best sense blackcurrant and grapefruit - to be honest, I can't really detect them.
What immediately comes to the forefront, however, is a mix of herbal-green and woody-dry. The floral heart note has nothing soft or even feminine about it and disappears instantly under the strong, spicy nutmeg. This is thoroughly a fragrance for men, har har.
In terms of scent progression, there are no significant changes; everything remains linear as it is perceived shortly after spraying, until it gradually fades away and disappears after a few hours.
There are days when I simply can't think of a suitable fragrance for the weather. Particularly sultry, warm days with high humidity are challenging for me. Unfortunately, there is little selection, as even the fresh summer scents seem to "melt away." Romeo Gigli for Man, on the other hand, seems perfectly crafted for such days. Like sawdust soaking up an oil stain, this "dehumidifier" feels like a lifesaver on a hot summer day when a thunderstorm is already in the air.
Aside from that, this dry-woody composition certainly works for the rest of the year, although I still miss the necessary "punch" for winter.
Conclusion: Positive surprise, I'll gladly wear it, and price-wise, it's an absolute bargain again.

Well said. I got the sample as a bonus and felt the same way about it.
