This is far more than just another typical marine fragrance release:
If i had to describe it in simple terms, I’d call it a marine aquatic fragrance with a woody synthetic tropical nuances.
But if i were to go a little deeper, nothing captures this scent better than the release trailer of the brand.
It reminds me of a diver surfacing after a dive, still wearing a neoprene wetsuit, climbing back onto a boat in the middle of the open ocean. As you step aboard, you smell the dense slightly synthetic texture of the neoprene blending seamlessly with salty sea air and the unmistakable scent of wet boat ropes. It’s remarkably realistic fusion of these elements.
I don’t see this as a “deep-sea” fragrance, nor as the scent of the coastline. Instead, it’s an open ocean fragrance but experienced right at the surface, where sea, equipment and salt come together in perfect harmony.
What surprised me the most is how wearable it is. Despite its originality and distinctive character, it’s not difficult to wear.
Recommendation: Test it on skin before buying. Because the fragrance recreates the scent of a neoprene wetsuit so convincingly it also carries a slightly synthetic facet. On some people skin this can come across as almost sweaty because is blended with the tropical fruits, salt and marine accords. Personally i see it as part of the realism rather than a flaw, but skin chemistry may influence how it’s perceived.
When to wear: Versatile - but I actually see it as fragrance almost for the transition from day to evening. It’s no coincidence that the story behind it is about leaving the sea and unwinding on a boat with a pipe and a glass of rum after a long day of diving. That atmosphere is exactly what this fragrance captures for me.
Colour: Most marine fragrances make me think of blue. This one doesn’t. It feels unmistakably yellow - the colour of its own juice - warm, tropical, salty and illuminated by the sun rather than surrounded by endless blue water. (Review based on a sample. Full bottle is already on its way)
