The year is 2088. Humanity created true artificial intelligence that has restructured society and facilitated peace and equilibrium with the planet. A long-forgotten aesthetic movement from early computer/internet culture -- frutiger aero -- makes a resurgence in the zeitgeist as humanity takes an interest in retro-futurism and embraces the misguided optimism of technology in harmony with the planet. Intensely green and aquatic imagery fills screens worldwide, while the discordant smells of fruits, flowers, trees, and herbs growing in vast enclosed aquaponic greenhouses fill the halls in massive enclosed cities.

However, for those of a keen mind, cracks emerge. The 'fresh' air is actually artificial. A musky, almost hospital-like background smell permeates every room. Glancing at the sky, a cloud seems to glitch and disappear...
