Is eating banana actually cannibalism?
Today I come to Golden Acacia of the Tuscan Scent fragrance series by Salvatore Ferragamo. As it is of course so, or as it is with me sometimes, I sometimes briefly think about the name of the fragrance. Golden Acacia. So golden acacia. Well, you know by now that I'm a bit ignorant about various plant species, ... at least I often mention that, but I still write it for all those who didn't know it yet. In other words, if I were to see a picture of an acacia tree in my head, I wouldn't know it was an acacia tree. From the name I would even assume that they are possibly related to pistachios, because the names (in German) sound so similar. But of course acacias and pistachios are as much related to each other as we humans are to bananas.

On the other hand... according to scientific research it turned out that we humans would share quite a bit of DNA with the bananas, and that our enzymes (and thus above all our metabolism) are about 25% identical with these fruits (the DNA is even 50% the same!). So it's 25-50% cannibalism if we eat something related to ourselves, right? :DD
Well, of course the comparison is limp, because pistachio and acacia are much more similar than humans and bananas. After all... both are trees after all, so these two plants are quite similar after all, so it's okay if I can't tell them apart, isn't it? :D
Phew... get the curve close again, he he he!

Whatever. After I looked up what acacias are, I had to check if there is also the species "Golden Acacia", or if this is only an allusion to the honey contained in the fragrance name, but see, there is both acacia honey and the Golden Acacia! Beautiful, isn't it? D
Now we come to the fragrance!

The fragrance:
I smell intense woody and earthy notes in the beginning. I can't determine the woods (uh... Acacia? :D), the earth comes from the patchouli. In addition there is sweety-spicy honey, which reminds a little of Thierry Mugler's fishing scents (only much less pungent!). The fragrance is also very warm and slightly floral.
Only a little later the sweetness comes not only from the honey (but still mostly from it), but also from the clearly smellable amber. But I don't really notice the indicated orange blossoms.
By the way, the spicy, woody and sweet notes for me also smell a little like these roasted and caramelised almonds at a Christmas market, which I really like.
A little later the fragrance becomes even warmer and softer, although it still smells a little spicy and is still quite intense in its radiance. This softness comes from the resinous notes, but without a look at the scent pyramid I wouldn't have guessed that the resinous opoponax is.
For many hours I can still smell the scent very well on me, and I now also smell even softer scents. The honey is no longer so spicy and has completely mixed with the amber as far as the sweet note of the fragrance is concerned. The resin has become much more intense, which could also be the reason why the fragrance appears softer and warmer in the later base. Besides, the scent is still a little woody. All in all a very nice fragrance!

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is intensive, so that the scent can be smelled longer at one or at the other. One leaves a large fragrance cloud and should therefore be careful not to overdose.
The shelf life seems to be almost eternal, as I could smell it for more than twelve hours, or from morning till evening
The bottle:
The bottle is black and is getting wider and wider in height. The name and brand are written in gold on the front. The neck of the bottle was also gold-plated, so that the bottle appears particularly noble. The lid is cylindrical and gold-plated on the inside. The outer shell of the lid seems to be made of wood, which in turn makes everything appear more valuable. All in all, the bottle is very successful.

Oh yes, I really liked that scent! It simply smells great with spicy and sweet notes, especially honey, mixed with amber, which is a great combination. I also liked the fact that the scent reminded me of candied almonds. He also has a strong charisma, so that he is always good to smell, but he also only belongs in autumn and winter. For me it fits especially well into the evening or for going out. During the day it's better to dose it less. In my opinion, it is also one of those fragrances that you could wear on special occasions. Unfortunately (for us gentlemen) the fragrance is more feminine than unisex *sigh*
So I think the fragrance is definitely worth testing! Unfortunately the fragrance seems to have been discontinued...

By the way: sometimes you call acacias robinias colloquial, which doesn't have to be true, because they are only a little related (but more related than acacias and pistachios, because acacias and robinias are both legumes,... well, a little looked up smart-arse has to be :D). And... yes, of course that has to be now, too, I would prefer the Robinia. What do you mean? Think about it, there's "Robin" in the word, the side kick of Batman! Do I have to say any more? :DD
(... but I have to admit that I have never been a very big fan of Robin and Tim Drake was really cool as Robin! I'm sure you don't know it, but it doesn't matter! :D).

Oh and don't worry if someone thinks she or he is 50% a banana :D
The same DNA sections mostly concern the regions for common blueprints, which are responsible for basic functions of all living beings, such as metabolism, organ formation etc... and the higher the common affiliation is (e.g. humans and mammals), the higher the similarities are. The DNA construction plan of the organs of a mouse, but also its limbs, for example, are basically almost the same (only in different sizes), it depends only on the small subtle differences such as certain genes, which all make what they are and which are not found in other living beings. In short: Eats bananas :DD
