Vaniglia - calming and exciting at the same time
For a long time, I lingered around the brand Santa Maria Novella, but I couldn't quite decide which fragrance I wanted to get. By chance, I became aware of Vaniglia through a comment here, which otherwise would not have been my first choice. Fragrance description: Vanilla - nothing else... that can mean a lot, but such a soliflore (if it indeed smells like the flower) can also become boring. However, the comment piqued my curiosity, and I ordered it.
The shipping was incredibly fast, and after 4 days I already held the package in my hands.
The bottle is classically beautiful and understated, and the splash bottle comes with a kit to convert it into a spray bottle - I am a sprayer, so I used the spray attachment.
Now to the scent: Vaniglia is indeed simple and strikingly just VANILLA! However, saying it is JUST vanilla does not do the fragrance justice in any way. Here, the deep, balsamic scent of the vanilla orchid flowers flows towards me. And in an abundance reminiscent of a large vanilla climbing plant, laden with nectar-dripping blossoms. Warm, deep, slightly green, and overwhelmingly natural. The scent remains vanilla, although it develops towards vanilla pods. This means it becomes even warmer and more balsamic - anyone who has ever opened a package of real vanilla pods from Madagascar knows what I mean. Vaniglia presents vanilla in its natural form - this is not a squeaky, artificially exaggerated, loud vanilla. This is the complexity of the scent of natural vanilla - terribly simple, but terribly good! The scent seems light, but it is enduring. It is not a fragrance that constantly screams "HERE I AM! HEY, NOTICE ME, I WAS EXPENSIVE," but rather one of those scents that positively enhance my own scent. It does not annoy, and even in close contact, it does not "bite" the nose of the other person.
This scent calms me incredibly, and at the same time, it awakens positive spirits of life. It is gentle yet determined.
I can recommend it to anyone who likes natural scents that are not found everywhere - although you should like vanilla.

Just placed a blind purchase 馃馃槏
