Great Fresh Rose
I've wanted to write something about this Serge Lutens for a while, so here are a few lines about "La Fille Tour de Fer." I find the entire brand quite good, even though so far only the Chergui line from this brand is in my collection. Anyone who likes fresh, authentic rose should test this one, as it offers a wonderful clean scent with this sensual-floral note. The price of this fragrance is absolutely reasonable if you take advantage of online offers. Although this one is labeled as a unisex fragrance, it seems to appeal more to women, which is not surprising given the high rose content. This fragrance is definitely for those who simply enjoy the clean-sensual touch of rose, here without much "fuss," which is also confirmed by this rather understated pyramid. Personally, I really like these notes of well-groomed rose, even though I typically don’t wear fragrances with this note in the foreground. It is important, of course, that you are the type for rose fragrances. For women, rose in the leading role is actually a no-brainer and thus always wearable. This Serge Lutens convinced me from the very beginning with this minimalist pyramid.
I quite like the uniform bottles, which describe the charm of this brand very well. Great design and everything works perfectly.
This fragrance is available in 50 and 100ml. The 100ml is worth it as this rose is extremely suitable for everyday use and also works well in between, making it a great scent for daily wear. Price-wise, this fragrance is offered at fair prices, which are already approaching designer levels (at least on sale).
In this fragrance, a mix of Turkish and Bulgarian rose is noticeable. Both types of rose are quite popular in the community due to their sensual but not too heavy scent. Here too, this combo impresses with its clean and sensual DNA in the first hours. Slightly soapy nuances are also perceptible, but they do not ruin this note. Added to this are powdery iris and pink pepper. The iris provides this slightly powdery note for more clean vibes and rounds off this creation well. A slightly peppery spiciness adds some edge, but not too much. Not much more happens here, which could also be a point of criticism for many. Sometimes I simply enjoy straightforward fragrances with minimalist pyramids. Here it is harmonious, clean, and also sensual. The scent is very linear so that all notes are always present and there is little change.
Performance is in the medium range. Longevity should be somewhere between 6-8 hours, with the latter hours being rather close to the skin.
Overall, a great rose fragrance that is relatively fresh and exudes cleanliness. I can definitely recommend it if you like Turkish and Bulgarian rose and enjoy having it in the leading role.
