Deo, deeh-eh-oh!
Oh dear, oh dear. A fragrance like from another world. Or just a gym men's changing room. It smells like deodorant. And by that I don't mean a certain deodorant, but all the master deodorants of the world.
I can't explain what this perfume has to do with the sailing experience. Perhaps a disproportionate amount of deodorant is used up? My associations with testing this fragrance went straight into the dressing room. The name Sergio Tacchini for the tennis player and the sports fashion brand of the same name probably did the rest. In fact, for me, this perfume celebrates the men's déo in all its dazzling facets, from cuttingly fresh to penetratingly clean-musky and intrusively sweat-covering to frighteningly uninspired.
Experience is in a way sporty-fresh. Without a particularly conspicuous citric opening, it starts with a freshly woody synthetic. Possibly from the interaction with the listed ozone this has for me this typical deospray vibe. Despite the name, I don't think it's particularly maritime. In general, I cannot perceive any of the other alleged ingredients. Boredom is not explicitly mentioned, but I clearly smell it. And for a really long time.
Following the many shower scents one could say in principle that Experience Sailing is a deodorant scent. All in a long-lasting formulation and filled into a cheap, boring bottle. Or to put it another way: a perfume with a certain nothing.
