Just step over me
Don't mind me. I just put on Josh's Lanz.
I'm down here on the floor,
my feet no use to me anymore.
I just want to lay here low,
smelling Lanz in my nose--
kind of silly, I suppose.
Yet to enjoy what Josh composed
requires full repose.
I know you've heard of Sandalwood
but it and Oud never smelt this good.
And there never was Ambergris
to make Boronia and Iris smell like this.
As for Silk vine and Ambrette seed,
together they brought me to my knees
then Blue Lotus knocked me out.
So don't mind me.
Though usually I prefer to dance
I'll just stay here on the floor
smelling Lanz.
p.s. Composed while thinking of John Prine's latest and yet unnamed.
p.p.s. Lanz is sooooo beautiful, such an accomplishment, that as soon as I get up I'm going to sit down and cry.
