the way to devotion
The bottle alone fascinates me: it reminds me of a kind of "desert cathedral".
I have no idea if there are cathedrals in the desert; if they were, they would certainly resemble this beautiful result of craftsmanship.
Round, to leave as little surface as possible for the desert wind and the sand to attack; with a closure that points upwards like hope.
Hope is always easier than reality and therefore floats above everything!
Pure white - innocent and yet so tempting!
If I smell like the women in the Orient with "SoOud - Fatena - Eau Fine", I cannot judge.
I'm afraid not, though. I am too light-skinned and have much too little heat to offer an adequate "launch pad" for this fragrance.
But I know: this one is mysterious and reveals its beauty bit by bit.
The memory of a veil dance emerges: layer after layer falls and thus slowly and pleasurably enfolds the pulsating temptation underneath.
I follow "Fatenas" defoliation with ever-increasing fascination: exoticism, enchanting feminine grace, sensuality and the desire to go even further, to give myself completely to this scented beauty, emerge here.
Sharpness and spice - ginger and saffron - immediately awaken the senses: this trace of incense sticks (what exactly do they contain?) leads into a strange world, where pink pepper forms a first stop.
The first discovery must be enjoyed at leisure - haste is a bad advisor here!
Only in this way can the enticing heart note be fully revealed and magically radiate feminine aromas.
The ripe peach scent reminds us of the velvety skin of the fruit, the woman who invites us to touch it.
Who of us has never had a ripe, round peach in both hands; has never absorbed its maturity and velvety with all the senses?
Lily of the valley and jasmine: this is a powerful combination for lovers! Sensitive nose people can be touched here rather unpleasantly. (Of course Meggi mumbles "stinky" again.)
I love both white scent monsters and swim so too totally devoted on the golden brown stream of sensual patchoulis wherever they lead me.
A fine caramel note lends a little exuberance to the previous fragrance: a rogue who thinks evil! Or rather a connoisseur?
A connoisseur now dives into the swirls of fragrance developed by the base notes with its serenity, which enhances every charm even more.
Breathing heavily, resinous, woody and spicy, "Fatena Eau Fine" now presents itself: "soOud" lives up to its name!
Whether leather, vanilla, cistus/labdanum, benzoin or woods are responsible for this sensual embrace - I don't know!
All I know is that it feels like a passionate embrace on a starry night under an oriental sky. (Here I have stolen a little bit from ALzD: a formulation that simply fits too well!)
I cannot and will not escape this embrace and the shine of starry eyes in which I sink.
I want - no: I want all this immediately and until the final devotion!
Stéphane Humbert Lucas has with his "SoOud"-collection reached a further stage in the Olympus of oriental fragrances.
Even more refined than before, here he succeeds in capturing the great mystery, which we can only decipher for ourselves, in a fragrance. And so that this, me so impressive flacon, also really is filled, he has added some, still unknown wonders of the universe.
A connoisseur invites here with "SoOud - Fatena - Eau Fine" to the celebration, to enjoy.
Fatena - Eau Fine" is a gift of time and time for enjoyment thanks to its indescribably long shelf life.
From a spicy, slightly sharp lolling on the skin develops a flower-rich fragrance stream, which leads in a magic vortex to the final explosion of all united fragrances!
A firework of tremendously fragrant passion and sensual enticement unfolds - and remains!
Remains until blissful fatigue, then falls asleep quietly and happily smiling.
Unfortunately, my bottling of this seductive creation is empty: remains the hope of deepening a delightful acquaintance and the memory of an unusual, intense scent frenzy!
