Arsenic and Old Lace
Another scent made with obvious quality ingredients but certainly an acquired taste and rather offbeat when it comes to rose fragrances.
Nothing cute and girly about it.
The first blast is a bit of a shocker as it strongly smells of curry powder.
Thank goodness this phase vanishes in no time at all to leave place to what I can only describe as a dirty rose.
There is something raw and primal about it, but rich and sweet at the same time.
It is obviously a rose perfume but one coated in dark molasses and syrupy resins.
Great sillage and longevity.
