... until I find Patchouli
It is difficult for me to perceive the other fragrance components behind the amber sweetness, which is very present from the beginning. Sometimes the flowers of the heart notes flash out, somehow darkened but beautiful. Only at the 5th or 6th time spraying on I could discover the chamomile. The lemon also speaks sometimes the final word. But I've also overheard vanilla in the process. Today I identified oakmoss for the first time ever. It's always a matter of getting the nose to the wrist at the right moment, when a nuance of the fragrance pyramid comes to the fore. I haven't caught patchouli yet. I have to be careful not to spray the fragrance on a clothes, there the sweetness lasts the longest.
Taken together, I wear Acqua di Firenze 1 (my abbreviation) today - with interruptions - the 6th, 7th day. There were days when the fragrance was supposedly only sweet, more likely, according to my current experience, that I brought the nose at the wrong time or not often enough in the direction of the wrist. One thing it never is for me though is gourmand. Despite the sweetness, I don't feel tempted to lick my wrist or get an appetite for candy.
Yesterday I still wanted to put the whole bottle here in the souk: too much sweet, today again I hesitate: there is certainly still something to discover.
So now I have decided to wait until I find Patchouli. The last word is not yet spoken.
Addendum 12/19:
I didn't find Patchouli and decided to give the scent to the souk. It is too sweet for me and I personally lack the balancing factor to it.
