the new Gucci Envy? Jaein

To make it short, I don't think we have the new Gucci Envy here. Even though it clearly goes in that direction. Here it is less Fougere and the progression is different. This old-school sweetness is also present, yet I wouldn't say it's a 1 to 1 Envy, even though there are certainly overlaps. I also don't like the opening very much here. But after about 20 minutes, everything settles down, this old-school sweetness that not everyone likes and the general old-school vibe recede a bit into the background, but they are still there, and it becomes more spicy-green, even with some rubber or plastic vibes and a bit of incense in the background. I like that much better than the opening; it has something, and it is beautifully mature and will be a good men's fragrance that radiates a bit of mystery. But you have to give it about 30 minutes, and it's not really for the younger crowd or surfer boys. Club-appropriate, yes, but whether it is necessarily a club scent that must be called THE club scent is questionable. But this dark spiciness from cumin, clove, anise, and incense fits perfectly with the patchouli, vetiver, and woods. It leans more towards the oriental direction, even reminds a bit of tea, without being too loud. It fits well. And especially the dry down is strong and works well.
