Sweet Talc
Tried on my hand and smelled of body talc immediatly upon sprayed.

After some minutes it starts to smell really sweet, like cotton candy with body talc.

I really think that it’s a very sweet perfume, but those herbs make this really different and interesting.

Very nice performance. Price is on point too.

Cool Herbs Unisex Vanilla
Virgile is the third fragrance of the Vannille series by Sylviane Delacourte, which I would like to describe here.

It starts off brash, fresh, very citrusy and smells strongly of tangerine zest and bergamot at the beginning. After a few minutes, a peppery cedar comes through along with vanilla and sage until it warms up a bit and ends in a slightly cooler herbal vanilla. I rate the sillage as rather subtle and pleasant. Only the durability could be better.

Overall, I find the fragrance very refreshing and definitely unisex, suitable for rather warmer days. He is neither too tart for ladies nor too sugary for men.

What amazes and delights me is that you can really sniff out every single ingredient in this fragrance. Like a flower that opens slowly, pushes itself with the time always a new note through and the fragrance turns into the vanillige.

Vanilla forms the final chord in all fragrances of this series even if it does not always play the main role from the beginning. SD interweaves the vanilla again and again with seemingly opposing notes and creates so small works of art.

I find that the vanilla series of SD is great perfumery art. Not any slapped together Wässerchen made on expensive, but a really thought-out concept and composed with love, dedication and passion. To discover something like this is a real pleasure

elfenzart floating vanilla
After I discovered my love for vanilla fragrances only some time ago, I am enchanted by these fragrance creations, which are heavily worn by lecherously creamy vanilla.
Especially when it is accompanied by brown alcohol (rum or cognac), I am tempted to call for a spoon (see also "Vanilla Absolument").
Whereby I prefer a robust, unaffected rum with this type of vanilla, which can contrast the dominance of vanilla with a strong partner.
These noble golden-brown cognac varieties, which I prefer, are simply too noble to stand up to this power. They belong, after all, in the matching glasses, which miraculously create a pleasant feeling in every hand; only in this way can these noble brandies completely enchant all senses.

Against this background I was naturally particularly curious about "La Collecion Vanille" by Syvaine Delacourte.
Slightly tuned in autumn and therefore looking for a little more warmth under my nose, I was the first of five vanilla niche fragrances to choose "Virgile".
And was surprised!

This vanilla floats! She has completely lost the heavy road holding and by her liaison with spicy clary sage this lightness comes out even stronger.
Clary sage with its present, slightly sweet scent is really not everyone's cup of tea.
However, the effect of the distillate from its flowers is amazing: it makes us light and makes us stand out!
Those who want to be grounded and always hover in airy heights should avoid this very special herbal scent. Maybe that's why you got that vanilla scent.
The proven healing effect of the clary ointment is well known. Thus it helps against anxiety, depression, mood swings and and and and - up to lacking sexual drive (as claimed in many books).

This mood-lifting scent fabric becomes fresher and less "esoteric" by the really refreshing mandarin scent (where does it have its usual synthetic touch?).
Bergamot also earns a little; before the rose geranium with its well-known aroma spreads a new healing effect.
Fully blossomed roses now meet soft, light leather: a refined fragrance development starts here.
Strong rosemary and the spiciness of cedar complete a Mediterranean-looking vanilla scent at its finest.
A light breeze of wind sweeps over a pastoral fragrant landscape, which is illuminated and warmed by a merciful, not too bright sun.

Here a heavy sensual scent was cleverly brought close to aromatherapy.
Whereby the warming and also healing effect of vanilla is already known for restlessness and even anxiety.
"Virgine" is more of a healing fairy than an opulent femme fatale.

This very special and completely unexpected vanilla scent accompanies protective but for some hours.
In the morning it leads into the day in a relaxing way and in the evening spreads a protective, pleasantly light cloth over the tension of the past hours: a fragrance that seems to tune in to a good night's sleep.
Whether the Sandman carries a bottle of it as a secret?

With "Virgine" Sylvaine Delacourte made me rave and float.
I'm really curious what the four other fragrances in this collection will reveal to me.
I am now prepared for surprises and will certainly report on them in due course.

The Healer
I would like to stay with these scents in my little elf kingdom, because they are so subtly worked.

Among the elven people there is a small elf, even smaller than the rest of the people, but she has a special gift.
She is more connected to nature than anyone else and can heal the other elves with their help.

During the night she sets off for the clearing where the most delicate herbs grow. On the way there she has to pass through a wild sorrel. (I suppose mandarin and bergamot together with the rose geranium give me this impression)
She takes her steps very carefully so as not to hurt any of the plants. She doesn't want to harvest them today.

As provisions she has a few citrus fruits with her. Their scent can be easily heard from their bag.

It is gently surrounded by the vanilla scent that is always present among the elves. Now she has arrived at the edge of the clearing, the moon shining through the fresh leaves of the cedars.

It's still too early. She settles down on a cushion of wild geraniums, enjoys the sight of heather all around and a single rose.

Only with the first light of the rising sun will she harvest the herbs. Muscat sage and rosemary, that's what the moon stands for today.

Slowly the life on the clearing awakes, one can guess the first light. The aromatic herbs unfold their scent, mix with their vanilla counterpart Carefully she chooses, always takes very little so as not to harm nature; and carefully puts it into her small leather bag.

The leather stands, although indicated above, for me here clearly in the background, the main role play the aromatic herbs, which accompany the vanilla.
This sorrel association is a little bit edgy to me, therefore here the 9.5, but overall the fragrance is wonderfully balanced again, especially the base is beautiful here too. Gently herbaceous-vanilla, a vanilla that is also very well wearable in midsummer
Well done little elf.
