Who's sitting around in underwear in this heat? :D
Soo, there's a Tauer smell coming today. Even though Tauer probably first thinks of the fragrance L'Air du Désert Marocain, maybe because of the heat of the desert, there are of course many other fragrances of this brand (similar to Creed, where there are other fragrances besides Aventus :DD), but I don't know any other, so it's time to test some of them again.
And the scent here reads wonderfully from its scents, as far as such extreme heat days are concerned. And I hope very much that it is refreshing, because all these warm days are quite exhausting. No wonder that while I'm writing this, I'm only sitting in my underpants in front of the computer!
... yes yes, if a lady had written that, everyone would find it totally sexy and who knows what would happen especially in the heads of the guys here, and yes, I must also admit that the idea of a woman in underwear is much more exciting than the idea of a possibly hairy half-naked guy, who also possibly also fingers his toes and then sniffs his fingers to see if his toes smell again, as some guys just do... Igiiiiitttttttttttttt!!! :DDDD (um... I don't do that of course!! That's disgusting!!! :DD).

Oh and the underwear was a joke, of course! I'm NOT sitting around in underpants, but in shorts and undershirts, which admittedly could sometimes be perceived from a distance as boxer or retro shorts, if someone were to watch me at home, which is mostly my hangover as always :D
A hint of rosemary is present and provides a beautiful, herbaceous note. As I write here about some herbaceous summer scents I find that such herbaceous notes like rosemary, but also basil, thyme etc. fit quite well with summery scents with citrus notes.
A little later the fragrance is still citric, but no longer tangy. It becomes softer and warmer, but remains naturally fresh and pleasant on hot days. The sweetness rises slightly and if I am not mistaken, the fragrance smells slightly even clean. I also perceive roses, though small, but they are present. This gives the fragrance an oriental touch and since the roses are not particularly strong, the fragrance is also wearable by men.
Cedar occurs from the base and probably ensures that the scent does not evaporate too quickly with all the short-lived, citric scents. Labdanum could have provided the sweetness for the whole fragrance process, but Labdanum is one of the fragrances I'm always totally unsure about, because I don't really know how it smells. The sweetness works for me (even if it is small), like sugar in tea, which could be quite useful, if you think of the tea ceremonies of the cultures living in deserts or hot places, which also drink tea on very hot days (warm, not hot) and don't refresh themselves with cola or so :D
But who can say no to tea? Except banshees! Hey hey,... anyway, Cologne du Maghreb is a very nice fragrance.
Also the durability is with approx. three hours or so quite small. Even after three hours it is still a little smelly, but then one hardly recognizes anything, so that it should be sprayed again.
Oooh yes, I liked the scent, even though the Sillage is really howling (and especially the bottle!). But it is a great refreshing and later wonderfully fragrant scent for warm and hot days, which smells slightly sweet, a bit citric and even warm and clean.
He is one of those fragrances that you can spray on yourself every now and then during the day or even in the evening, because in my opinion he belongs to this kind of fragrances that not only look good on very hot days, but could also come across nice to others. After all, it's not always easy to smell good on days when it's hotter than hell :D
In any case, I would try the fragrance, I liked it pretty much. Unfortunately it is quite short-lived, but well, you have to live with that with many summer scents.

Ooh, yeah, that's what I call refreshing. The fragrance immediately begins with a lively charge of citric notes, of which I can best smell the lemons first, before one or the other note can also be smelled, like the mandarins, which have a slightly sweet scent here. I'm actually disappointed in the bottle. Instead of being filled in one of these great Tauer pentagonal bottles, the fragrance comes in a very simple, cheap looking rectangular bottle that is typical of many niche brands and looks like nothing. Even the label is a simple, round sticker with the name of the fragrance. So for me it looks more like a more noble bottling than a bottle. What a shame!
